The owners are very nice and helpful, place is clean spotless!

The breakfasts were very poor, few things and every single day was exactly the same, not impressed Bed was EXTREMLY uncomfortable it was old matress with springs and you can feel every single one of them There is no kettle in the room which should be a standard nowadays

It was a lot further than described on booking. Com. The beds do need to be upgraded.

The owners were very nice and accommodating, felt right at home. Breakfast was just fine, after a couple days repeating, but still good. Room wes small, but nice, we had a balcony looking at the garden, road and lake. Very clean, towels and sheets changed every day, exceptional service. Would recommend to my friends.

Bed mattrases were a bit springy and not really comfy, otherwise everything was really good.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities. The location was also very good, with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

A very small problem - the room did not have an ironing board.

The staff were absolutely exceptional! Amazing people that made me feel at home immediately. They provided me with great recommendations and also made me breakfast early on the day of my checkout. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of lago di Garda. The Wi-Fi worked well and everything was very clean.

There was nothing that I did not like. The facility was exactly as advertised. The staff are amazing people.

The hotel and facilities are a bit dated.

We stayed at Hotel Derby for 5 nights and we would highly recommend it. It’s a 45 minute walk to old town Sirmione which is very scenic. A shuttle bus is also accessible to the old town. Laura and Sergio are the most amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly into their family hotel and went above and beyond at various times throughout our stay. They were extremely helpful with regards organizing our trips (transport, timetables, ferries for the lake). We had really early starts on most days of our visit which meant we would have missed the scheduled start time of breakfast at 8am. However, Laura went out of her way to prepare breakfast early for us each of the days which was really kind. The buffet style breakfast was delicious. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb. I injured my leg on one of the days but I wasn’t able to get to a pharmacy as it was late and they were closed. Laura kindly gave me tablets that I could take to ease the pain before getting to a pharmacy the following morning. In general they made the atmosphere so personal yet relaxed and were consistent in meeting our needs and always greeted us with warm smiles. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Derby.
