Hotel Marconi

Absolutely loved staying here. Great location and walking distance to everything. Owners were so welcoming on arrival and throughout stay. Breakfast bar was fantastic and lots of choices. Would highly recommend.

Well, I’ll preface by saying we arrived in the middle of the giant heat-wave. We were soaked in sweat. The gentleman checked us in pretty quickly. The elevator has room for a human and two bags, so this human went. The gentleman was nice but not forthcoming. But more later. Thank the gods the air conditioning works just fine! The location is excellent though you might walk by it once ... or twice. Look left people. Look left. When we checked in we weren’t told about breakfast or WiFi. We had to ask later. So beware, the WiFi is enough to make you drink more, if you don’t you will start! But we aren’t on vacation to be on line, right ? That brings me to cable - there isn’t any. Same rule applies. The guys warmed up nicely. Gave us lovely directions out. The breaky is adequate. There’s a lovely private deck on to the lake ! You’d never know there is a hustle and a bustle going on 100 feet away. Also, the private balcony is quite funny. All in all an ok place to stay if you don’t mind spotty WiFi and no English telly.

Absoutley LOVED my stay at Hotel Marconi. Felt far better than a 3 star hotel, even though 3 star hotels in general are fine. Staff, location, food, service and room were absolute class and would definitley stay here if I ever visit Sirmione again. Thank you Hotel Marconi for my beautiful stay!

The location is fabulous, the staff and service could not have been better. But I do not recommend the dinner - but the breakfast is wonderful. Finally, the WiFi could stand a lot of improvement in the room and in the common areas.

Unique location within the walled city center, importantly with protected car parking on the hotel grounds if requested. A quiet, private oasis in a dense touristic, scenic town. Beautiful garden and deck directly on lake. Exemplary breakfast included.

Sadly I only stayed one night.. To really enjoy the centre of Sirmione where the hotel is located-right on the lake front needs a bit longer. After a long drive from Germany the offer of a nice cold drink on arrival was most welcome. The breakfast buffet is quite spectacular for cake lovers...
