Hotel Ariston

Struttura davvero bella e molto curata. Hotel di un certo livello a Paestum. Stanze grandi e sempre pulite. Colazione buona e abbondante. Cena superlativa. Personale super cortese e disponibile a partire dalle ragazze alla reception, ai camerieri( è raro trovare persone così tanto attenti al cliente) ai ragazzi che guidino la navetta che conduce al mare. Navetta veramente comodissima. Letti comodi Lido bello e super fornito con possibilità di buffet. Che dire super consigliato e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Aria condizionata troppo forte, e manca una finestra o un balcone dove stendere i costumi e le asciugamani bagnate.

Large room with refurbished bathroom

Breakfast wasn't special. Only yogurts and cake. No toast or eggs, cold meats or cheese. The view from the room was disappointing. It was the side of another building.

First of all the location is not good but you know that before you go there. As for the facilities the rooms were big and clean and ours was renovated. The breakfast was not good for Italian cuisine while the restaurant to have a meal there was nothing special. They should pay attention to the restaurant because in that area there are not many options nearby.

The room description on booking.com was not the room I got. It was hot and the ac didn’t work. There was a set of dried up contact lens on the sink that was still there after the room was serviced. I left a day early than I planned.

The Hotel Ariston Paestum is an excellent venue for a stay in the Cilento region of Southern Italy. My wife Gina and I spent 10 lovely days in early September 2024 at The Ariston and were very pleasantly impressed with the Management and Staff. The Hotel is a family owned and run organization with friendly and efficient personnel at all levels. We were thoroughly pleased with the facilities, the gorgeous interior decor, beautiful landscaping, fountains, dining room and bars. Our room was spacious, comfortable and a true extension of this nice venue. We observed that the hotel was constantly and happily hosting weddings, birthdays and other social affairs in its many party rooms inside and outside the buildings, obviously a very popular venue for the locals as well. The Executive Chef at the hotel's restaurant creates delicious dishes at every meal with a passion for culinary excellence featuring an open view kitchen ina charming ambience. The friendly serving staff, such as Angela and Antonio, did an impeccable job. The quality and freshness of most products consumed at The Ariston are sourced from their own Tempio Agricultural Farm, approximately a mile away, where agri-tourism takes a new meaning. We toured Tempio, a working farm with wonderful food, and observed over 1,200 heads of buffaloes and 300 or so cows, producing the milk used to manufacture the best Buffala Mozzarella we have ever had. Ricotta and other cheeses, wines, olive oil, prosciutto and may other products of this modern facility are served at the hotel's restaurant and can also be tasted or purchased at the Tempio restaurant and shop. The tour of Azienda Agricola Tempio, capped by a meal at its restaurant, is not to be missed! We learned a great deal from the dedicated, professional veterinarian Emmanuel at Tempio; he gave us an excellent tour of the buffalo production facilities. The Cilento Coast offers some great, sandy beaches with waters so clean that many were awarded the "Blue Flag" denomination for their pristine condition. The private beach at this hotel, The Lido Ariston, is one such beauty and is accessible to Hotel Ariston guests by a five minute ride on shuttles provided by the hotel. Paestum is also the ideal destination for those seeking historical context, as its Archeological Park of Paestum, which is about a ten minute ride from The Ariston, consists of ancient ruins that are among the only Greek ruins left on Italy's mainland and are very well preserved. Our appreciation and thanks to Owners and Staff at The Hotel Ariston for their warm hospitality and excellent service which made us feel welcomed at all times and made our stay so relaxing. Attention to detail and commitment to guest service sets them apart from the rest. The wide variety of amenities: fantastic restaurant, swimming pool, spa and fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi service and the best breakfast buffet ever offering their own production of buffalo mozzarella, ricotta and prosciutto. Our overall experience at the Hotel Ariston Paestum was delightful from start to finish. Thank you all for an unforgettable vacation and for making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this property.
