Beautiful views from the hotel. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but not horrible. The staff was wonderful when it came to bringing the luggage up or down the stairs.

"Classic older hotel a bit removed from the Positano tourist chaos"

It's a beautiful old hotel, well maintained and comfortable. It's a bit of a hike up from the road, but the gorgeous views from the breakfast room made it worthwhile. I liked being some distance removed from the overly touristy part of Positano, down by the beach. The breakfast was excellent, and the serving staff were very friendly and helpful.

The terrace view from our bedroom was a little blocked by a service building, so a room on a higher floor would've been better. I was disappointed that the beautiful rooftop bar was closed when we were there, but that's understandable as it was low season.

The person managing the property told us to be back by 11pm else he will not open the main gate. We reached at 2 am by the did ropen.
