Hotel La Scogliera

For a 4 star Hotel Food and Beverages insufficient in variety as well as quality.

The staff were nice and tried their best to communicate with me in English.

Very dirty and dated. It is advertised as “4 stars” and charged as such, but it was no where near a 4 star level establishment, more akin to a USA motel, 1-2 stars at best. The restroom had weird stains throughout, the bed had long pieces of hair stuck between the sheets. Dust everywhere as if it has never been cleaned.

this hotel is a gem . positioned in the best side of forio - a bit further down the noisy center but still walking distance from restaurants and bars . the direct access to the clean water of forio through their solarium is something rare you won’t find anywhere . the vibe is very elegant but not pretentious the staff is a 5 star rating and it makes you want to stay at the hotel at all times all members of the satff and the owners themselves will make you feel like part of a big family well done

great location, with few steps from the beach and about 20 minutes walking to the central town near by. also the view of the mountain was great. the property has a very nice welcoming garden and friendly staff. all staff welcoming guests as VIP.

the breakfast wasn’t good as expected, also the shower in the room was too small.

Our overall experience at this hotel exceeded our expectations! The hotel is excellently located close to the harbor and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and beaches (all within 10-15 mins walk), but is isolated enough from the loud music of the bars to feel relaxing and cozy. The hotel staff was extremely kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating! The rooms are clean and the view from the balcony is just stunning! We loved the homemade cakes for breakfast as much at the mojitos for aperitivo!

Our stay was very positive, and I cannot think of any negative notes for la Scogliera.
