The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful. The room was pleasant although the view from the window was not good, but sometimes there is nothing that can be done about the view from a hotel in a very old city. Internet worked well and breakfast was good. Parking outside the walls but could drive in to unload luggage.

It was a nice place to stay, right in the heart of SG. We traveled in the off season, so not much open in the town in terms of restaurants etc. Hotel was comfortable and cute.

The stay was fine. My wife forgot her Nikon camera recharger in the hotel. When she called the next day. First there was a denial there was anything left in the room. Only after a very long conversation on the phone, the receptionist agreed to look into it. Luckily they called later in the day at our new hotel that they found the recharger, battery and the addaptor in the room. It could have been resolved much easier, if the receptionist had agreed to look into it in the first place.

Great location within city walls but San Gimignano is a small city and easy to walk around to see everything. We drove and it is easy to find the hotel, drop off bags and park just outside the walls within a short walk back to hotel. Hotel is charming with an ancient cave below that's set up like an archeological dig in a museum. Rooms are large and comfortable. Standard breakfast fare of various meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, etc. and they will cook you eggs on order & make coffee drinks like cappuccino. If you're going to experience other local activities such as truffle hunting, cooking classes & wine tasting, this is a great place to make your home base ic you have a car. Overall, very happy with our choice and we would definitely return!

As the hotel is located at one end of San Gimignano, it was easy walking to all of the town. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was even though it was on the main street. The breakfast was substantial with great choices, the room was spacious and well furnished, and staff was very responsive. We called on them every night to make dinner reservations. Their suggestions for how to enjoy the town were perfect - if we came again, this is where we would stay.

Situated at the end of a main street - so not too busy or noisy - this hotel was a great find. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was of a good standard. You can park outside the hotel to unload and they will give you a map and show you where the nearest car parks are. We chose P1, which is free and just a short walk further than P3: the closest one where you have to pay.
