Boutique Hotel Re Enzo

Our room was quite small, but I think there were larger room options. It was very clean, the staff were quite helpful in booking dinner reservations. The location was in easy walking distance to the main historic areas.

The hotel was good. Room had good storage space. Bathroom very small with no place to put toiletries. The reception staff were very helpful with booking dinner reservations. The restaurants for fine dining booked up rather quickly. An easy city to get lost in.

The staff were very helpful, especially Paula.

We recently stayed at Hotel Re Enzo, for 5 nights and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. The reception team was incredibly helpful and always available to assist with directions and recommendations. The restaurant staff were equally friendly, making the breakfast experience enjoyable every morning. Speaking of breakfast, the selection was quite nice. They offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes, and the quality was great for starting the day right. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was perfectly fine for our stay. While the view was of the rooftops of Bologna, the small terrace attached to the room was a nice touch — perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evening. The bathroom was clean and functional, though we found the shower a bit tight, especially for larger people, so that might be something to keep in mind. One of the hotel's best features is its location. It's about a 15-minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, the heart of Bologna, and Via del Pratello, which is just a 3-minute walk away, offers plenty of bars and restaurants to explore. If you’re arriving by car don’t use the car park next door, way too expensive. We parked in Via Della Garda using the EasyPark app.

We had a lovely stay together with my husband. Overall the hotel was nice and staff was very friendly!

The hotel was great apart from the poor water pressure in the shower which was also too small.

Lots to say about this hotel. we arrived at about 1 pm from the train station, our room wasn't ready - no problem because we understood that check in was at 2, they went out of their way to get our room ready quickly, which was really appreciated. The Hotel manager told us we could have coffee at the bar, although they don't have a the restaurant open for lunch - they had some pastries and the coffee was wonderful, followed by a well deserved Beer. My Wife had broken her ankle a week before our arrival, and the reception staff very kindly organised a wheelchair on our behalf - which made our life much easier! The room was good, Smallish, with a balcony - no real view to speak of (Roof tops and other apartments), but still nice and suited our stay. The weather was hot, and the aircon was pretty noisy, but worked well. Good Bed, and really appreciated the mini bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was also a bit small - especially the shower! The Hotel room safe didn't work in our room(had seen better days!), - so we left our passports with the hotel. Location was good - a fair distance from the train station, but not to far from the centre of town. A couple of good nearby restaurants, but would pick my times to walk around and avoid after later night. We really liked Bologna - there is plenty to see and do. Good Hotel - not outstanding, but good, felt safe, good amenities, great staff, - they make the place shine!

We would have given 4.5. We found that the hotel has very helpful and effective personnel at the desk. Impeccably clean. Very small room with a nice terrace but with a view on nothing special. No diet soft drinks. Extremely convenient connection to a private garage.
