Hotel Carlton

Nice hotel in the center of Ferrara, which is a very nice and beautiful city. The hotel was fine, the room was nice and clean. However, there was a lot of noise from other rooms. The breakfast selection was good. The fitness center was poor and could use some improvement.

Everything was just perfect. Staff is too good. They are there for your any need. Very prompt and courteous.

Room was a decent size, comfortable and had a pleasant view. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of food. We did ask for a quiet room if possible and unfortunately it turned out to be the opposite. Right next to the lift. Lots of noise also coming from the room above that did disrupt our sleep.

Glutenfree breakfast was taken care of the local team! They took the effort to buy at a specialised shop glutenfree bread. So nice.

We recently spent two nights in Ferrara while visiting northern Italy. Carlton Hotel was the perfect choice - the location to the town center and everything we wanted to see was very convenient. The staff was very helpful. They provided a list of terrific restaurant recommendations - we ate at two and they made the reservations for one of them. Room was modern and comfy. Breakfast had loads of options. They have bicycles and umbrellas for guest use. Seemed like a lot of business travelers stay there but it was perfect for us as vacationers.
