Antique building, location, breakfast, spacious room.

A lot of things didn't work: 1. A power outlet was dead, another power outlet cycled on and off. 2. The shower drained extremely slowly. 3. The toilet flush didn't work most of the time. 4. The room was too hot, despite setting the thermostat to its minimum.

A fantastic hotel in a great location in the city center, maintained in a beautiful, traditional Italian style. The rooms are very spacious and finished with great attention to detail. The incredibly helpful staff assisted us in ordering a taxi right to the hotel door. We will also fondly remember the gentleman who helped with breakfast service and always greeted everyone with a smile. We highly recommend this place, as well as Reggio Emilia itself, and we hope to have the chance to return!

The hotel is fine -- clean with a great breakfast spread! If you are in one of the attic rooms, you will not be able to stand up in the shower. My colleague and I are 5'2 and 5'7 respectively and could not fully stand up in the shower. if you are tall you MUST ask for a room with a taller shower. Otherwise, it is in a great location and the hotel is a good one.

The hotel is in a beautiful building right in the heart of Reggio Emilia, close to restaurants, cafes, shopping and gelato. The staff were very accommodating and promptly supported us when we needed. The breakfast spread was fresh and had a lot of variety. The room was clean impeccably everyday.

The ceiling in the shower of our room was too short to stand up in (for reference I am 5.3ft tall). The building is old and the electrical seems to also be old as the plugs in our room were inconsistent with power (the staff did help us when we asked). We had to ask for an extra pillow as only one very thin pillow was provided per bed. The room was on the top floor of the building and we had to sleep with the windows open because it was very hot, even when the temps weren’t that warm outside. Since we had the windows open, the noise from the street was somewhat loud in the early mornings from garbage trucks and street cleaners.
