Hotel Pupetto

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Pupetto! The location was perfect — just a short easy 5–7 minute walk from the main beach, tucked away enough to feel peaceful but still close to everything. The included breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, full barista service, and the most stunning view to enjoy while eating. It honestly felt like such a special way to start each morning. The room had everything we needed, and every room has a beautiful balcony overlooking the water — I couldn’t get enough of it. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and it was lovely. I’m sure during peak season it gets busier, but visiting in the second week of October was perfect — fewer crowds, best seats at restaurants, and still gorgeous weather. Be warned: you do have to walk up an insane amount of stairs to catch a taxi — but honestly, it’s not a negative at all. It’s just the price you pay for being right on the beach, and totally worth it. Truly such a memorable stay and I can’t wait to come back.

The hotel lobby and grounds were beautiful. I loved being away from the business of the port of Positano. The staff were wonderful and even helped me put together a little surprise for my husband for his birthday!

Our room had a musty smell the entire time, but otherwise was comfortable. The walls are thin and you can hear everything, especially the people above you and in the halls.

Ristorante troppo caro

It's a very nice hotel located not far from the harbor, which can be reached using a small path. The staff is super friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. On top of that, the breakfast buffet on the terrace with a sea view was excellent. I will definitely stay there again if I come back to Positano.

Easy walk to the town centre. The hotel has good beach access. The onsite restaurant is good, and the breakfast buffet is nice.

When we had a shower the water went all over the floor and into the room.

Love it. Great and picturesque location. View from balcony is stunning. Very convenient to the port. 10mins walk but be prepared going uphill. Make sure to get a porter. Staff and breakfast is delicious. Only bed is not as soft as expected. Could use new mattress. Checking out we made a mistake in climbing all the way to the steep top to meet our taxi. Best to take the ferry. I would come back here though.
