The restaurant has excellent food, great service and also incredible views - making it an absolute hidden gem in Positano! The dishes are absolutely delicious, I had the seafood pasta, and previously had a fantastic risotto. My partner had delicious ravioli and octopus starter - yum!! Paired with the stunning scenery, dining here is an unforgettable experience. A must-visit when in Positano! Highly recommend 😄 Jaz & Beniamino

Terrible Experience - Hidden Charges and Rude Staff My stay at Conca de Oro Hotel was extremely disappointing. When we checked out, we were shocked to be charged €70 for breakfast, which we were never informed wasn’t included. There was no mention of this extra charge during our stay or at check-in. To make matters worse, the front desk staff member, Mariana, was incredibly rude when we questioned the charge. Her attitude changed noticeably once she realized we were American, making us feel like we were being taken advantage of. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you’re from out of the country. It feels like they’re looking for ways to rip you off. Avoid Conca de Oro if you value transparency and decent customer service. The front desk mentioned that you are not home here. She means that you are not in the United States .

Expensive price for a deluxe triple room that cost more than the double deluxe with a hot tub originally paid for

It had a beautiful view and very nice interior! The price was however very expensive for what it offered. No pool, just a dirty jacuzzi and a little space on the rooftop for laying out.. The breakfast was no more than mediocre. To get to the main part of the hotel you need to climb very many steps, so if you’re not well by foot, no chance! The rooms were also quite weak for the price. Shower was awesome but uncomfortable beds… The staff was however very helpful and kind! I‘d like to give the hotel lower stars for its price and its offers… but the hotel was mostly clean and the people kind!☀️

When we first got to the property, we were in love with it. However, after we got settled in there were a few things that are simply unacceptable for the price we paid to stay here. 1. It smells of manure whilst having breakfast on the terrace, which is completely disgusting. 2. The shower consistently leaks all over the bathroom floor and into the bedroom. We constantly had towels on the floor to make sure we didn’t slip. There was a constant smell of mold in the room from this. 3. Considering we had spent over $5.5K AUD to stay here for the week, to be told that we need to pay to use an iron is simply ridiculous. It’s approximately $50 AUD to iron your clothes to wear to dinner. 4. The Wi-Fi does not work at all, which made organising bookings / reservations impossible. 5. Last but not least, and probably my worst of the lot… THE NOISE!!! We were constantly woken up to doors being slammed at all hours of the morning, staff vacuuming at 5am, elevators being run. I was woken up almost every night of my stay. An amazing view of Positano, but you can get that anywhere. Wouldn’t recommend this place in the slightest.

Conca D’Oro was an amazing experience to our family stay in Positano. The rooms are very comfortable and well decorated, the restaurant very good and all the staff very friendly and helpful in everything you need.

The views from this hotel are amazing.

The rooms were spacious and the views were amazing. Food and drinks were delicious! Wear proper shoes for the vertical city, lots and lots of steep steps.

Absolutely recommend this location for the views, the cleanliness but most of all the service. We joined our friends for their stay while they celebrated their wedding and we had the absolute best time during breakfast and dinner because of how splendid the servers were, specially Salvatore. The first day I was there I enjoyed the breakfast and Salvatore promptly sat us, set up the umbrella, brought our cappuccinos and even cut me a slice of their apple pie. A few days later he welcomed us by name for dinner. Salvatore thank you so much for being such a kind human! He even gave me some pointers on how to get from Positano to Rome.
