Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

One of few reports with a large private beach and clean crystal clear water. Friendly staff and gorgeous views and spacious adore conditioned family room. Food wasn’t as good as when we dined outside of resort. I’d recommend exploring the center and dining, or the square outside the resort. Also great location as pier next door can jump on daily cruises around the coast.

We visited Early June 2025 at this resort and there's several things to address; The hotel address from Hotels.com and website did not give valid address and we ended up at another address until I had to stop at a café shop to ask where the hotel was which is accessed by road right under the bridge. Upon check in, we weren't given information about the use of the facilities at the resort. At the beach, we learned gotel guests only have access to the far right area on the beach. Where as the residents have access total access to all areas be booking and reserving spots per day. Beach is great with alot of rocks and people's so bring water shoes. Its very busy with mostly only locals. Resturant is okay but pricey compared to the other restaurants in the area. The "spa pools" you have to pay for access each day and have to pre book because when we went to the front desk to pay and go in, they told us it was fully booked and we cannot use it for the duration of our time at the hotel. Which this information was never given to us at check in nor does it say at time of booking online. Pool is small and full of children, did not use. Alcohol drinks are good. We stayed in a apartment style room which is far to the side of the resort. No room service was given for the 6 days. Had to call desk 2nd Day and request towels and linens. Then on the 4th day, they told us it will cost $20 euros for another set of towels. Hotel staff needs to be more attentive to their own hotel guest

This hotel in Vico Equense is a hidden gem cozy, charming, and beautifully maintained. The pools and private beach are stunning, clean, and truly serene. In fact, it’s one of the few hotels in the area that offers direct access to a private beach, which makes it feel even more exclusive. The villas are spacious and very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Vico Equense itself is a fantastic alternative to Sorrento less crowded, more affordable, and just as scenic, with breathtaking views of the coastline. The only drawbacks were that one of the villas had quite a few bugs, and the umbrellas at the beach and pool are taken down at 6 p.m., which felt a bit too early. Overall, highly recommended for a peaceful and quite stay.

The property was fantastic. The staff was always nice and helpful. The only thing I would do differently would be to stay in the actual hotel and not the apartments. Staying in the hotel itself has additional benefits that apartments did not have access to. We will be back we loved our stay.

Beautiful location and facilities. Easy to train and short rides to sorrento and pasitano! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Did not want to leave.

The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. They had easy to follow train, shuttle and ferry schedules available to guests which was so helpful. A shuttle was available to take you into town to the train station where you could easily grab a regional train to Pompeii, Sorrento or Positano in under 30 minutes. The pools were great and very relaxing. Our room was updated, clean, bright and had a/c. Our room was cleaned everyday and any issues we had were immediately resolved. The breakfast was very good. The location was beautiful and very quiet. They have tennis courts too, which the kids loved. Highly recommend staying here and getting a break from the big crowds in Sorrento ect.

Receptive and pleasant staff from arriving, understanding requests and planning trips. Rooms ideal and great views of Naples Bay. Good breakfast arrangements and outside areas but early season and quiet. Nice walk up to town and local places to eat.

We stay in the late October and beginning of November. Firstly I have to say that staff was amazing. Helpful and always professional. Promptly responded to our request and there was never a problem with even the smallest things. There are lots of facilities for children and really nice swimming pools complex. Hotel is surrounded by beautiful views. Reception area was nice and the hotel part as well. Not sure about the hotels rooms because we stayed in the apartments. Negative part was that the whole complex looked a bit worn down. I would be ok if that was a campsite but not “resort”. Little bit of redecoration is probably overdue
