Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

Staff was amazing! We arrived late on the train, in the rain and after dark. They sent their shuttle to pick us up, even though we got off at the wrong stop. They greeted us with umbrellas at the shuttle. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The weather wasn't great, so the beach area was closed, but that is not their fault. There wasn't much to do within walking distance but their free shuttle is great because you can go to town or to the train station to get to lots of other places. Their breakfast was amazing!!

Spend one week on this location honeymoon anniversary 24 years, could not ask for a better place they treat you like a family Valentina front desk a perfect host Mattel in the wellness Department could not ask for more great service Salvatore the food service could not ask for more a great service. Awesome service

The resort was amazing. We took a day from our travels to enjoy the resort. There is a ferry stop right at the resort so no need to get into Vico Equense or Sorrento for any trips you might want to take. The restaurants near the resort were excellent and the staff were also amazing. There’s a little shop near the camping area up the road that sold great wine and spirits that you could take to your room

Staff would constantly agree to do something but rarely follow thru. Our a/c in one room was broken upon arrival and we complained 5 separate times, each time they would send someone, and yet never fix it. We stayed 4 days and the a/c was still broken at the end. The staff failed to give us towels till we asked 3 times, oven didn't work, the bathroom showers we're not clean, full mold and remove the prior guest used bar soap. Also, lots of mosquitoes and the staff would constantly leave the door open when working on the a/c. Many other guests also complained when we talked with them

The staff at the reception really went above and beyond to make sure their guests enjoyed their stay. They answered any inquiries quickly and were always available. The staff at all the different facilities at the resort were friendly and kind. I would stay here again.

We booked an apartment to have two bedrooms. The moment we arrived I saw ants in the washroom. I was told we are in nature and this is normal. They sent someone to clean the washroom. Still there were ants in the kitchen on our night stands. Again we were told this is normal because we're surrounded by gardens. By day three our luggage’s it was completely infested. They finally agreed to change our room, but gave us a room that sleeps three, we are a family of 4. I spent most of my evening transferring all our belongings then half the night shaking out all the ants and wiping down our luggage’s and belongings with vinegar. At checkout I was simply told these things happen with ZERO compensation for the terrible experience. In total I spent 1.5 days cleaning out our things and doing laundry (no dryers) of our two week vacation. Having to pay full price for that experience was a slap in the face. Would never go back or recommend. Resort itself is beautiful, right by the water with a large pool.

In general, it was a pleasant stay. Few good restaurants in the neighborhood. Possibility to take a boat tour from there. 20-30 minutes away from Sorrento. Apartment requires a slight renovation. The room cleaning and towel change is extra. Beach towel rent is 5 euros per use or you can keep it without changing it.

Very friendly staff and wonderful views. Did exactly everything we needed for our volcano and Pompeii tour.
