Gounod Hotel

I had the most relaxing and beautiful stay at the newly renovated Gounod Hotel. The staff were so welcoming and exceptionally helpful. The room was perfect: quiet, very clean with attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable and my room had a modern bathroom with shower and bath. The fridge and safe were an added plus. I will definitely book here again. Thank you to the front desk staff and all the staff that made my stay exceptional. Merci beaucoup!

Front desk staff exceptionally helpful. Newly appointed rooms. We were given disabled room so shower wasnt optimum but was very easy for luggage!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful, recently refurbished hotel. Everyone was super helpful and the room was gorgeous! Great location too - between the station and the sea. Would thoroughly recommend!

Such a nice, elegant hotel. Very understated. Rooms are clean and well-appointed with large bathrooms and a good shower! Reception very helpful and it’s in a good location for walking to the front, but yet far enough away to be quiet.

Lovely hotel but beware the night watch boy > he has no clue! Sent me off in the rain looking for parking, when it turns out they had avalability. But the manager comped a nigh, so OK. Otherwise quite nice, but the junior suite is notexactly as shown i the photos, but still very nice.

Ideal location just blocks from both the promenade and main train station. Very walkable neighborhood with Lime and Pony share bikes less than a block away to take advantage of the many bike lanes in this section of Nice. Rooms are in excellent condition and the staff is very helpful. Choice of tourist-friendly or authentic neighborhood restaurants within minutes.
