In Riva al Lago

Unpleasant property in what appeared to me to be in not so desirable area of town. I did not check in .

We visited Como literally three months before the COVID - 19 pandemic .Had a wonderful two night stay. Staff were superb, friendly and approachable. All aminities were near such as bus C17 towards Menangio ,C19 towards Bellagio ,Lake boats,cruises etc. Hotel breakfast was with hundreds of varieties healthy foods and fruits.We consider it more than breakfast almost a lunch . Above all hotelier Mario is a ''Super Mario '' because we saw his hospitality towards all boarders were very caring.I wish him very well and hope he is doing excellent in this current situation.

It took a while to check in as we booked the place last minute, but once we were able to get help, it was very smooth. The venue was very close to the lake and the plaza which was ideal for walking around.

What a wonderful place, will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Como! Fabulous customer service, lovely room with super comfy bed (best sleep in ages), very clean and perfect location next to the lake.

Have stayed here each time we visit Lake Como. It is an outstanding inn. Location is perfect right on the lakeside. So clean and beds very comfortable. We had en suite bathroom and it was super clean. Mario is an impeccable host. Very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is exceptional with everything one could want. Our room was 3rd floor which was no problem for us but if mobility is a concern, ask for ground floor room in advance. No elevator. Very close to bus stop. Take #4 or #5 to and from the Como San Giovanni train station. Love this place. Thanks, Mario!

Nice size rooms. Friendly check-in. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

The street appearance of this hotel us ratty snd scary. The inner stairs are unlighted, dirty snd narrow. But the room was just fine. The desk lsdy walked us to our room because there are codes to put in at the hallwdya. The air cooler only runs at certain hours. The room had no problems except the shower water ran allover the floor. Breakfast was crowded but had an amazing selection. It doesn't start until 8:00 and our train left before that, so they gave us a yogurt and apple to go.

Only problem no elevator and if you are on top floor can be pose a problem with heavy luggage

Very helpful and friendly staff, they speak English too. Great location, quiet and yet bang in the centre 1 minute from the lake.
