Ruc Hôtel Cannes

We were booked in here by the “Place in the Sun” tv programme for 5 days of filming. It was a lovely hotel in a lovely area. Just a short walk from the Carlton on the Croisette. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable with wide screen TV , nice bathroom and great air conditioning! A small breakfast room with “help yourself “ croissants, fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, beans toast etc and plenty of coffee tea, and juices. A great start to a long hot day. The staff are so helpful and friendly and not forgetting the warm welcome of Nesquik, the hotels lovely docile dog! We highly recommend this Bijou hotel.

Would highly recommend this cosy hotel. Pretty rooms, delicious breakfast. Very professionnal staff. The Croisette is a short distance walk. To top it all, their private beach on the Croisette is just so wonderful ! Will surely come back !

my wife and i,had a second stay here,the last stay was in 2013,we were not disappointed,by our stay this year,14th-21st july 18,the hotel is conveniently situated just 10 mins from the front,l,croisette,and about 20 mins walk from railway station,we stayed in room 13,on the first floor,which was quite,and comfortable,but that whole area is reasonably quite,the staff were very helpful and friendly the only drawbacks being the breakfasts,which was 14 euros per person per day, when we were last there in 2013,it was a cold buffet breakfast,this year sort of hot food has been added sausage,egg,and sometimes bacon,although with the lid of the food warmer often left up this often turned into cold food,there is a safe in the room but no fridge ,but as i had to carry medication which had to be kept at fridge temperature,i was allowed to keep these in the breakfast room cooler,downstairs,all in all we had an enjoyable stay,the staff did speak english if you spoke it slowly,and yes when back in cannes we would stay here again,for 7 days we were charged 1,130.20 euros which i suppose for cannes is quite reasonable,

Within walking distance of the croisette and beach hotel is very friendly some of the staff speak English but in some cases there were dialect problems when it came to understanding we were in room 13 on the first floor which was comfortable although shower screen did not fit properly onto bath Breakfast at 14 euro per person per day was expensive they did serve some. Hot food but mainly based on buffet breakfast we paid 11322 euros for two adults for 7 days our stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend to others

Overall excellent stay - comfortable beds, clean bathroom, helpful, welcoming and relaxed staff. We just needed a clean, comfortable and convenient base for our 3 night stay in Cannes. This hotel provided that. It’s no-frills, and gets the basics right. For cost, this hotel is perfect. Only feedback would be that the shower screen let’s water through and floods the bathroom, and there is a stale smell in the corridors. Thanks!

It was just ok. Our room smelled bad which we complained about but nothing happened. The walls had dirty spots on them. The bathroom seemed clean enough though.

Badrummet såg helt förfallet ut, rummet va pyttelitet, såg varken fräscht eller trevligt ut. Absolut inget 4 stjärnigt hotell, snarare 2. Kommer ej boka igen eller rekommendera

J'ai payer 91€ pour une chambre qui est soit disant haut de gammes maiscneat vraiment mon pire séjour dans un hôtel de mai vie ! Il etait bien placé certes pour un sejour soit disant "romantique" avec mon mari c'etait vraiment désastreux ! Je n'y retournerai plus jamais

Hotel carino ottimo materasso, un po' fuori dal centro. C'è il bidet! Ma niente doccia e niente frigorifero. Ma 3 o 4 stelle??

The hotel is very cute with great decor. If you're lucky you'll get to meet the owner. He's a suave guy sitting at the front desk.
