Rettentő kicsi volt a fürdő, kérdéses tisztasággal. törött szekrények, stb. A fizetés alkalmával az volt feltüntetve, hogy én személyesen fizetek a hotelnak, ennek ellenére a papa, már a kész számlával, blokkal várt a távozáskor. ( ebben az esetben akkor tüntessék fel azt, hogy levonják a pénzt, ne azt, hogy én fizetek...)

An old dirty hotel worth half-star at most (announced as a 2-star hotel). Old awful tiles in bathrooms, dirty bars on the window leading to a roof. The bathroom is unpleasant, the tap is unstable and moves, the toilet bowl is like in a closet outside the bathroom. There is a dark corridor and you can barely fit the key into the door lock. Old grey linens and toilet paper, no shampoo, a shower gel was provided only. Maybe 50 years ago it was nice but now... In general, we are not too demanding, but this case is really exceptional. I never met any 2-star hotel in USA in such a bad condition. No parking, no even way to approach by car to the hotel door legally. When we left that place, the clerk (maybe he is owner) call for a taxi from a gangster taxi company. For 4-minute drive to Nice Villa train station, he demanded aggressively 20 euro. Sure, no taxi counter was turned on. In Paris, I paid twice less more essentially longer driving in taxi. I believe that the choice of the criminal taxi company is an additional characteristic of this hotel. However, if you look for a doss-house near the beach and you are ready to spend a lot per night, it will be ok.

I want to give this little place a good review. At 90 euros a night the price was right. It certainly has charm and character. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the wifi was flawless. It was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Marco was very sweet and informative. I'm sure it was a lovely place in the 50s. But since then it has been kept up by a blind handyman. You can see 3 attempts for every "upgrade" (3 places they tried to hang the shower curtain; 3 versions of where the toilet roll hangs; maybe only 2 for the TV). There was no light in the hallway; we had to open our door by feel. Point of information: there's no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags. Still, if you're on a budget and need a place to sleep and shower, this works fine.

This hotel is dirty, dingy and some of the staff are scary. I would never stay here again.

The hotel was for sale, not kdding, only the first floor was open. I had to check to see if the hotel I was the same one on the net. The pictures do not match. It was cheap and i guess you get what you pay for.

Although it is in a good location, being close to the beach and the city center, the hotel itself is very old, smelly (from bathroom), and certainly not well maintained. As a backpack traveller, I stay at cheap hotels everywhere but this hotel is by far the worst. Staff had no facial expressions nor friendly manner. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a good location close to the seafront, the town centre and to restuarants. The free WiFi is good and of decent speed. It provided good value for money. However, the air conditioning did not work properly - water keeps dripping from the AC unit at night and we have to turn it off. There is also random clutter along the walkway.

Ok hotel for the price, good location, clean and all basics are included. Recommended for cheap 2 star budget hotel

Hello! De la Buffa is very nice and cute, small hotel. 7 min from airport by bus N98 and 5 min walk from promenade. Near by many shops and cafes and restaurants. Stuff is very friendly and hospitality. If I would have a chance to come to Nice again definitely would stay there.
