Hotel Aria

This is the first property I’ve stayed at that had a personalised post card of Nice in the room welcoming us. Was such a cute touch that I still smile about days after leaving! The hotel was lovely, clean & a lot more modern internally than I was expecting. Only a 5 minute walk from the main train station & a 10 minute walk to the promenade/beach or main spots in town. Loved every minute of our stay in Nice & would definitely stay at Aria again

No small fridge in the rooms & the uphill walk back to the train station (which obviously is no fault of the property lol)

Generally, the hotel is very nice, with a great design, friendly staff, and an excellent location.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The towels and bed sheets were not properly washed, and there was a lot of dirt in the corners, especially near the skirting boards and around the bed frame. I also got bitten during the night, probably by bed bugs. I don’t know if we were just unlucky with the room and the rest is fine, or if all rooms are like this.

We loved our stay here. Pierre was very very nice and extremely attentive. Pierre was our favorite!! Gave us excellent directions and recommendations for walking around the city. Explained everything about the hotel in detail making sure we were well informed. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. Great location. Short walks between train station and nearby beach. Many great cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and shops nearby.

Shower was a little awkward and we wished the tv had options to cast from our devices to ghee other options to watch from. But other than that no major complaints. Our stay was lovely

Lovely hotel, very clean. Friendly staff. Great location for the train station and short walk to the beach. Family rooms ideal for families or groups of 4.

Convenient location close to the train station. Russell at the front desk was excellent — very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also very nice with a good variety.

The room we received was not the Comfort Double we reserved. The substitute room was in poor condition: peeling wallpaper and flooring, a bed that felt smaller than a double and was pushed against the wall with no side table, a non‑functional safe (which staff said they were already aware of but reassured us that the area is safe), a deadbolt that didn’t work, and a broken reading light. The bathroom was poorly lit with only two small ceiling pot lights, and the shower was so small it was difficult to turn around. When we reported the issues, we were told a room change could be considered the next morning. We were moved the following day to the room type shown on the website. When I asked why the initial room wasn’t listed anywhere on their website, the response was that ‘not all rooms can be shown,’ which didn’t address the quality concerns — and of course you wouldn’t advertise a room with peeling wallpaper and flooring.
