Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

This hotel was absolutely amazing I can not fault anything, the staff, the room, location,food was excellent

Currently staying at this excellent adult only hotel. We stayed here last year. They kindly allocated us the same room as last year (306) overlooking the pool. The food is as always superb and varied. Last night was a mexican themed evening. Alvaro, the waiter in the bar was especially helpful as was all the staff. The hotel is cleaned to within an inch of its life. Evening entertainment is first class. If you’re looking for a quality adult only hotel this place is for you.

We were a group of 5 friends celebrating a 60th birthday and stayed at Valentin Somni for a long weeked. My room was a standard room on the 4th floor in the main "block" and I found it to be clean, quiet, modern, with a fantastic shower, and a nice size, although I was the only occupant and therefore didnt have any issues with the glass doors to the toilet and shower. The food was buffet style with so many choices I would challenge anyone not to find something appropriate. We were half board and despite the Hotel being almost full there was never really a problem at breakfast or dinner finding a table. All the staff, no matter what their role, were always friendly, and helpful. There was entertainment provided for an hour each evening, although I wouldnt necessary recommend it! (with the exception of the Elton John tribute who didnt take himself too seriously), I would however mention Ezter from the entertainment team who was so bubbly, and tried so hard to encourage people to join in it was infectious! The pool areas were kept clean and although busy at times there were a lot of sunbeds around the different pool areas. There is a short 5 minute walk down to Paguera and the Beach although when returning please note it can be quite a steep walk in places. Overall this was a lovely Adult only hotel, with friendly staff and a good position and I would definitely return.

Hezky zrekonstruovaný hotel, všude čisto

Zvláštní je na pokoji řešení WC, stěny z mléčného skla by až tak nevadily, ale končí asi 20cm pod stropem a nemáte tak plné soukromí a není zde ani větrák. To je docela nepříjemná věc.

If I could rate this hotel 10 stars, I would. l honestly can't rate it highly enough. The man who checked us in at reception on was helpful, welcoming and friendly. He could not do enough for us. We checked in at half past midnight, as we'd had delays with our flights and he gave us a drink on arrival and was kind enough to refill my glass and keep topping it up :) He said to go down to the buffet and get ourselves a plate, as we'd missed our evening meal and he didn't believe in any guest going to bed hungry, he'd left a whole spread out which is a very generous and kind thing to do for guests. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is stunning, rooms are beautifully decorated. The pool and roof terrace was amazing and the whole reception area was a warm, relaxing and calm space to be. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the steps up to the hotel are so inviting and light up on a night. The food had such a variety, so much choice and was delicious. Hotel entertainment was 10/10 especially the Elton John impersonator. I would 100 percent stay here again and can't wait to in the future.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I can honestly say it’s the best hotel we have ever been to, and for once, I genuinely cannot think of a single negative thing to say. The cleanliness was outstanding everywhere — the rooms, restaurants, pool areas, and all public spaces were spotless at all times. You can tell the staff take huge pride in maintaining such a beautiful hotel. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful, kind, and attentive throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The level of service here is honestly unreal and made our holiday feel extra special. The food was stunning with so much variety and exceptional quality every day. Every meal felt like a treat, and there was something for everyone. The entertainment was also fantastic — fun, professional, and enjoyable for all ages, with a brilliant atmosphere every evening. Overall, this hotel exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was perfect. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Ok so I am starting this review at the start of our week away and will update as the week goes. First impressions on entering the hotel is brilliant, very modern, clean and chic. The staff are all polite, friendly and smart in their immaculate uniforms. Our room was not ready on arrival but we were offered an upgrade to their golden deluxe at a reduced price of 30€ per night (up selling at it finest lol). We accepted the upgrade and are really pleased with the standard, which is again very modern, with a walk in wardrobe and coffee machine. The rooms also have privacy glass shower/toilet areas.. not sure that appeals!. Though the upgraded room has a kitchenette, we feel the area could be better utilised in some other way. The pool area hmm...there is a good selection of sun loungers, however these don't match the modern, chic hotel with some of the loungers uncomfortable. Strangely they offer 3 "Bali" beds for 25€, which apart from shade screens are similar to other beds!!. The pool is roped off as the pool attendant does not start until 10am, therefore guests can swim at their own risk, however you can't enter it as it's roped off!! At least the pool attendant gets a lie in !!!. More to follow...
