Hôtel Amista Marseille (ancien Hôtel Saint-Louis Vieux Port)

Our bedroom and bath had ceiling beams which we hit couple of times . Paint in red!

We stayed two nights in the 2nd floor family room. Pleasant and clean with a lovely small balcony. Basic breakfast with limited choice but not expensive. 15 minute walk from station and 5 minute walk to the port. Overall,a decent budget choice hotel.

Good stay

When I arrived, my room wasn’t available. It took about 30 minutes past the check in time to get it ready. When I got into the room, the shower smelled so bad, like wet dog. The room itself was pretty sizable and comfortable. When I got into the shower, the hose attached to the fountain broke off and this started to flood the bathroom. The hotel moved me to another room, where there were no towels. They offered me a free breakfast, which was nice. On the whole, had those issues not happened, it was a fine hotel. Not the cleanest, but centrally located. The bed was comfortable, and they have a cafe downstairs.

Unique and super

The room was very small but pleasant and clean. Special thanks to Christof, a server in the hotel restaurant. He made our stay in Marseille memorable.

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable.

Very well located in the center of the city on a beautiful parisean style building. Staff very nice and spoke good english. The breakfast at the outside terrasse/cafe of the hotel was also great. Rooms are big, new and clean. You have to park in a nearby public parking.
