Aamiainen oli kattava ja sai hakea aamupalaa 11 saakka, jonka jälkeen sai vielä saada nauttimaan.

Viemärit uima-altaan suihkussa tukossa ja aulassa haisi viemäri. Vanhat putket lienee syynä ja kuumat kelit.

DerAufenthalt im Essence Hotel Boutique hat uns sehr gut gefallen.Die Poolanlage ist toll mit vielen schönen liegebetten.vorallem das man bis 22 Uhr baden kann find ich sehr gut. Das Essen war vielfältig ,es gibt eine grosse auswahl an Salaten ,Fisch, Fleisch und Dessert. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmekt.Alles ist sehr schön angerichtet und schmeckt ausgezeichnet..Auch die Bedienung ,das Personal war sehr freundlich.. Die Lage ist auch gut nicht weit zum Meer und es gibt viele Restaurands und Läden in der Nähe.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse, das war etwas laut.

Stayed for 10 nights in June 2026 and unfortunately would not return. The hotel is marketed as a boutique spa hotel, but the reality felt quite different. The strongest point is the location, which is convenient for the beach, Torremolinos centre and the train to Málaga. However, we found the rooms very small and lacking basic practical features. There were no hooks for towels or clothes and no drying rail or suitable place to dry swimwear, which seems an odd omission for a beach hotel. Breakfast was disappointing and became repetitive very quickly. We never felt tempted to use the restaurant or bar during our stay. The décor will divide opinion. What is presented as luxury felt dated and incoherent to us, with lots of gold finishes and decorative touches that seemed more style-over-substance than genuine boutique design. We would have preferred better room design, storage and comfort rather than decorative flourishes. The toiletries were another disappointment. The supplied products were heavily fragranced and we ended up buying our own toiletries in Málaga. On the positive side, the hotel was clean, generally quiet and the staff were pleasant. If you’re simply looking for a convenient base near the beach, it may suit you well. For us, though, the gap between the hotel’s boutique image and the actual experience was too great. There was nothing seriously wrong, but there were too many small frustrations and too little quality or character to justify a return visit.

Our second visit to Essence, and it's our favourite hotel in the area. The staff are so friendly and helpful, whatever we needed, they were there to help. The pool area is ideal for couples wanting to relax. And the restaurant is FANTASTIC, the food on the roof top terrace is to die for. We will be booking again for sure!

The hotel is located in a quieter area, however only a short walk to Torremolinos old town. Lovely pool area, also fabulous rooftop bar that serves great food. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. The staff are very friendly and informative.

Små rum

Hyggelig vertskap, god mat, bra basseng og god beliggenhet.

Rommene kunnne vært litt større, men det var rent og ordentlig.
