Resort La Francesca

We had a reservation at Resort La Francesca from September 8th to September 13th, but due to a poor experience, we ended up leaving a day early. The stay was truly disappointing. As soon as we checked in and entered our accommodation, we realized it was nothing like what we had booked. The unit was on the ground floor, dark, and outdated, with everything old. The "sea view" advertised on the website did not match the reality of the house we were given. The house was sparsely equipped. There were barely any dishes, no TV, and not even a coffee machine! If you're considering staying here, be prepared to feel like you're camping. I went back to the reception to complain and requested something closer to what we had reserved. They gave us another ground-floor unit, slightly better with less overgrown vegetation, where we could at least see a glimpse of the sea. As we explored the so-called resort, we noticed it was in a state of disrepair with very poor maintenance. Everything was old, and the bar, supermarket, and restaurant were only open for limited hours during the day and afternoon. The children's pool was completely empty, and other leisure areas like the tennis courts and playground showed clear signs of neglect. If you're planning to visit Levanto, be prepared for a long, steep walk down and a tough climb back up. The shorter path from the resort to the tunnels was closed off and had clearly been neglected for a long time due to lack of maintenance. We cut our stay short due to the lack of comfort and the presence of several bugs crawling inside the house. The final straw was when we found a scorpion crawling in our bedroom at night! We reported this to reception, but it didn’t help. To make matters worse, we were charged the full amount for the stay and forced to pay €8 per day for parking, despite the blue document we received at check-in stating that parking was included for one car per house, with an additional charge only for extra cars. In conclusion, I do not recommend staying here. The photos on the website are clearly from when the place was new, but now everything is old and poorly maintained. This place is expensive and does not offer the basic amenities or comfort you'd expect. Of all the places we've stayed, this was by far the worst.

Wonderful location, beautiful view on the sea, however not directly from the apartment.

Everything was old and outworn, not renovated for decades. The price doesn’t correspond to quality of the resort.

I would’ve stayed here way longer, skipped all other things planned, heck if I could live here for ever I would. Prime location, simple and confortable, clean, convient.

This cottage resort has the most breathtaking views. Amenities such as the restaurant, mini market, bar, and beach were exceptional service and workers were very friendly. This is a perfect getaway spot for peace and connection with nature.

Das Resort ist wirlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wer es Retro mag, der wird es hier lieben. Die Häuser sind sehr einfach eingerichtet und es ist zu empfehlen ein Moskitonetz für das Bett mitzubringen. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar und das klare Wasser eigent sich prima zum schnorcheln. Es gibt einen kleinen Privatstrand, ist die Brandung jedoch zu stark muss man ein sicherer Schwimmer sein, um ins Wasser zu kommen. Vorteil: Wir haben keine Feuerquallen gesehen (an anderen Stränden in der Nähe jedoch sehrwohl.) Es ist sehr ruhig in der Anlage und man trifft auf nette Urlauber. Der Shop hat leider nur morgens 2 Stunden geöffnet und das Parken kostet 8/Tag.

Crusty old and needing maintenance . The restaurant was closed The bar closed 11 am along with the shop The pool closed at 6 pm when it was sill very hot No toilet paper in our room and nothing to wash dishes with. 8 euro to park a car but only if you book through a website and not direct The saving features are the receptionist yesterday and the view . Sadly never again. Go here with low low expectations

Amazing location, very helpful and courteous stuff. Rooms are okay but requires updates and better stocking. You can't beat the view though.

Une seule chose est belle dans cettte "hôtel", pardon, camping c'est la vue... Aucun entretien. Un piscine, pardon une marre dans un état lamentable. Des terrains de tennis, pardons, des terrains vagues. Etc etc. Un restaurant hors de prix ou la nourriture est vraiment pas bonnes et froides, avec des tarifs dignes d'un gastro. Bref, pour faire des photos cest tres bien pour le reste à fuir !
