Medplaya Hotel Calypso

Just got back from two weeks at the Medplaya calypso hotel SALOUif you’re thinking about going make sure there’s no school party going because they take over the hotel and restaurant, shouting in the corridor late at night banging on doors, during the day they take over the pool and generally making a nuisance of them selves, if you do fancy a dip in the pool you will have to wait until about 11-30 when the lifeguard decides to remove the netting from around the pool and then put it back around 5-30, so be quick also make sure you get to the pool early so you can get a sun shade because out of about 16 shades 7 wear broken, as regards the restaurant be prepared to be shoved around and don’t expect any gourmet food try to dine out if possible, also when you arrive make sure you have something with you to drink, because it will cost you 2.50 euros for a small bottle of water. Also don’t expect anything special in the way of entertainment, fine for kids but that’s it, they have a electronic dart board but only 2 darts and one of them is bent, finely when you have leave they have a luggage room, but sorry to break the bad news they charge 2 euros per locker but lockers only take one case each, enjoy your stay. ?😭😭😭😭

Muy bien organizado todo, ubicación muy buena, estaba todo limpio, animación para los niños todos los días aunque es más para los extranjeros y las piscinas super bien todas. La metre del restaurante un encanto de mujer así da gusto ir a comer. La terraza de la habitación super grande con mesa y sillas una maravilla.

Aparcar es difícil porque casi todo es zona azul, por poner una pega las almohadas son muy blandas y bajitas, y la puerta del baño muy incomoda por todo lo demás perfecto.

La comida excelente, el personal muy amable.La piscina de topoganes muy bien mi hija a disfrutado muchisimo.

La limpieza y el personal que son muy amables y atentos, desde las camareras de pisos a los camareros, muy amables. La comida exquisita, teníamos media pensión y fue espectacular

Hotel great for kids my 6 year old was kept going all day between the mini Club and daily activities. The slide area was great too and he enjoyed the mini disco. The entertainment staff were all lovely

Some of the parasols and parasol stands were broken on 2 days wind blew the parasol on top of our beds as the base wasn't secured. Its the white ones that are ripped and broken. We said to staff but they didn't come over.
