The Originals City, Hôtel Frisia, Beaulieu-sur-Mer

This is an extremely good value hotel in a great position overlooking the harbour in a small and to be honest not very exciting resort not far from Nice. The room was a good size and cool and comfortable with a simple but pleasant décor - it was well worth spending the extra to get a view over the harbour, coast and hills. We did not use the pool which was small and next to the road or the roof terrace (we had our balcony) or eat breakfast but appreciated the little book exchange and selection of magazines. Beaulieu may not be the most exciting resort but the hotel's location a short walk from the station and only steps from the bus stop (the 100 service from Nice to Menton via Monaco must be one the Cote d'Azur's best travel bargains) made it a perfect base for exploring the area

Great location great staff

Basic hotel but does the job. Room was small, dated and lacked plug sockets. That being said, staff are very helpful and pleasant and rooms very clean. Plunge pool is a nice touch - glad we stayed here over some of the other more basic hotels more centrally located in town (friends stayed in them...).

Fantastic hotel. Lovely breakfast and location

Excellent hotel, central location overlooking the waterfront and 10min walk from the railway station. Room with balcony, sunshade and shutters, clean towels everyday and bathroom with rainforest shower. Small but very clean swimming pool and area, wonderful after hot day exploring to have a swim. Roof top terrace was great to enjoy your sundowner drink. No questions raised about bring own wine etc into hotel or facilities for drinking and staff happy to provide ice for chilling. The whole hotel was kept beautifully clean and obviously room etc had been refurbished etc. On the whole an exceptional hotel and excellent value for money.

Great breakfast. Good but noisy location next to roundabout. Noise from doors slamming in our corridor woke us up- lack of carpet doesnt help. Comfortable room with aircon. All in all a good experience and I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.

Perfect Hotel if your want a comfortable celan place to sleep as base while travelling etc.

Fabulous location overlooking the marina with its boats, shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful. For the price and the location, it was excellent value.

Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our visit. The location of the hotel is superb...overlooking the harbour, near both a bus stop and the train station. Breakfast was good and very reasonably priced.

Even on a Sunday the traffic noise was disturbing. Also, they gave me a room next to the elevator which you could hear it’s doo every time it was used.
