The Originals City, Hôtel Frisia, Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Stayed here for 5 nights, staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the night porter. Our room was a good size and comfortable. Lovely views of the mountains and the marina. Hotel was only a 5 min walk to train and bus stop. Was a great place to stay for visiting nearby tourist attractions. Will definitely return!

We had to overnight for business with a very early departure. All the Hotel staff were extremely helpful and especially the Gentleman that were there overnight and setting up breakfast the next morning. Due to a very early departure we were unable to have breakfast but he was very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent!

Quiet hotel, lovely pool. Close to beaches and everything in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

A all in all nice stay! But upon leaving we found other peoples dirty socks under the bed :( Wine near the pool was served in beer plastic cups - no wine glasses, which made me feel like a kid unable to handle a wineglass away from the kitchen table. Towels from the room were not to be used near the pool... WHY???

Great location with stunning sea views from port side rooms, however there is a lot of traffic noise. Easy access to station and bus stops and local restaurants. A little pricey for the room size. Minimal toiletries provided eg just soap and shower gel. Provision of a kettle for tea and coffee would be welcomed.

Stayed her for 4 nights in early June and had a lovely time. We don't normally splash out on sea views but, this time, we were really glad we did: the view from the balcony over the harbour and mountains is just spectacular. (The hotel does have a lovely roof top terrace with the same view if you don't manage to get a sea view room.) Our room itself was very simply but tastefully furnished with a very comfortable double bed and stylish bathroom. Beaulieu-sur-Mer is a lovely place with a marina and two beaches very close to the hotel. If you enjoy walking, there are beautiful walks from the hotel to Saint-Jean (about 30 mins) and all around the Cap-Ferrat (about 2h30) or over to Villefranche (about 30 mins). Pick up a map from the tourist info. Don't miss the Villa Rothschild on the Cap if you like gardens. If you want to go further afield and don't have a car, the train station is very nearby and there are also frequent bus services. All in all, a great stay and definitely want to return.

we stayed in the renovated section facing the sea. The view was excellent from our roomy balcony. The room and bath were excellent.

Extremely well positioned hotel, close to the beach and restaurants as well the transportation links (bus/ train). It was very easy to travel to and from Monte Carlo, in addition being outside of Monte Carlo it was not as hectic and very peaceful.

Stayed one night while travelling to Barcelonia, hotel has easy access to major highways, staff was friendly, good breakfast and only 10 minutes to Monaco.

This hotel is a gem, great location but be sure to pay the extra for an ocean front room. Then you also get a walk out balcony with table and chairs!
