Fantastic hotel with beautiful pool and sunbathing area. Staff very helpful and polite. Room was a good size, with good air con. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

Beautiful location, ruined by indifferent, rude and aggressive staff. when we arrived. we asked for an early breakfast (7 AM) on our departure day. We were told it was impossible to have any food before 8 AM (4* hotel, really?) and if we were leaving early we should settle our bill the night before. Charming welcome! Later we were enjoying a quiet drink in the lounge when a receptionist walked in and without acknowledging us switched on a huge TV to a blaring football channel. The bar was unstaffed and we had to wander around looking for someone to serve. The same receptionist dismissively waved us away, Stating 'go to the garden, Someone will serve you'. The hotel was taken over by a wedding to whom the staff devoted all the attention. They removed breakfast tables as guests left, to set up for the wedding. We were banish to the pool for lunch as the wedding party took over all the eating area. At dinner we were sat at an outside table 5m from the wedding party and live band. When we told the waiter we have decided to go into town to dinner he angrily cleared our table whilst we sat at it. At midnight, When the loud wedding disco music was still blaring, we rang to ask when it would finish. The receptionist shouted down the phone 'Will finish soon, what's your problem?' Simply dreadful. And we can't complain to the hotel as reception staff twice told us they didn't know who the manager was or who ran the hotel. It beggars belief.

Great location, quiet hideaway on the edge of San Gimignano. Converted 15th century convent, beautiful architecture and grounds. Staff extremely accomodating. Superb breakfasts, the one dinner we had less so but short cab ride to town for many options.

A charming monastery built in 1587. This 20 rooms, one suite ,restaurant, , large pool, and gorgeous grounds is a must to visit. We stayed 4 days and it was not enough time to see and do everything.

With a beautiful view, a fragrant garden, singing birds, tall pines, it was a true vacation setting. The service was refined, food delicious. A touch of elegance

We asked for extra pillows and sheets and the hotel charged us for 30 Euro for that. The hotel staff attitude was very bad and didn't behave nice to us. The hotel structure and overall view is amazing but definetly would not come back with this kind of service.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Wonderful setting only 5 mins drive to San Gimignano. Set in an old 16th Century nunnery. Absolutely loved the place. Only stayed two nights but wished it had been two weeks. Will definitely return.
