Medplaya Hotel Regente

No way is this hotel a 4* at best its only just a 3* , the breakfast was ok , but the evening meals are dredful , also we where half board , never have i ever been anywhere no matter what board i was did i not get a drink , not even a water all drink even water with your meal has to be paid for the rooms are very average and need upgrading , im no snob and ive been alot of places but this place noteven th stff seem happy , i think the rating needs re checking and before someone falls ill the food needs sorting out to , sorry one unhappy holiday maker 😒

We arrived on Sunday 24th May at about 1pm Check in was fast & efficient, staff were friendly & pointed us in the direction of the food truck by the pool. We were on the 9th floor (room 905), it has a fridge, large shower with dove shampoo, body wash and hand wash. Aircon was working & the room was clean. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows in the wardrobe. Good wardrobe space but lacking drawer space. We had our 5 year old daughter with us so there was a bed at the foot of the main bed - it was a tight squeeze but for the amount of time we spent in the room it was ok. The door to the balcony did not lock. The pool is clean, manned by a life guard & closed off at 6pm by screens to prevent anyone going in (removed at 10am daily) sun beds are limited & we struggled to get three beds a couple of the days we were there… some beds had towels on but no people until sometimes 2pm but there were no rules to prevent that from happening. The food truck is great, we were all inclusive and the choice of food for us and our daughter was great. The guy that serves drinks was lovely, always friendly… we were always polite & he was to us. The restaurant is good for breakfast, we didn’t go in at lunch time & the evening meals were ok but nothing special - we always found something but I’d suggest maybe eating out on a night if you want variety. We enjoyed our time here and probably would return in the future
