The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Segovia’s old town, between the Aqueduct (and the bus stop for the Renfe station) and the Cathedral. From here, all major sights can easily be reached on foot. We received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. When there were some minor issues with our room, the staff responded quickly, professionally, and with a solution-oriented attitude, offering us an alternative without any hassle. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the reception before check-in. Another nice feature is the guest lounge on the fifth floor, equipped with snack and beverage vending machines. The adjoining rooftop terrace offers beautiful views over the city and is a pleasant place to relax—although you’ll be sharing it with quite a few pigeons.

The hotel has clearly been around for many years, and unfortunately, this is noticeable in several areas. Despite some renovations, both the hotel and the rooms felt rather dated and lacked a modern atmosphere. In addition, the cleanliness of the room left room for improvement and did not fully meet our expectations. We also noticed some mold in the bathroom grout.
