The staff at this hotel were the friendliest people we have met in Italy so far. They are extremely accommodating and made sure our trip was seamless and enjoyable. We stayed for dinner and were very impressed by the quality of food.

We very rarely pay and upcharge for a room with a view since we generally just use our hotel room for sleeping. We are so glad we paid for a view. Our room looked out onto Lake Como with the Alps as a backdrop. Spectacular. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive down the hills to Bellagio. If you don't have a car they have a shuttle van that will take you back and forth. The rooms are very comfy and since we visited in February, the heated tile floors were a welcome amenity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site that offers a buffet breakfast and dinner. The breakfast offerings are varied and the dinners we had were exceptional. We were only in the room for two nights but it was so relaxing and peaceful it felt like a week.

The hotel offers stunning views, but overall, the stay experience fell short. Given the seasonal price, it was acceptable, but during peak summer, I would have been more disappointed. The good: the staff were brilliant—helpful and friendly. The views of Lake Como were breathtaking, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was limited but enjoyable, and dinners were fresh and well-prepared. However, the rest of the experience was average. We stayed in Room 4, a superior lake view room with access to a shared balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was clean but lacked superior amenities. The bathroom needed attention. The tap was broken, coming off every time it was used. The shower screen leaked, and the shower head was covered in limescale. The wooden windows were damaged from moisture. The shuttle service to Bellagio town costs €5 per person and only runs until 7pm, inconvenient since most restaurants open at that time. There's only one 7-seater van for the whole hotel, regularly fully booked. We ended up walking 45 minutes into town or paying €20 for a cab. They waived our shuttle fee on checkout, which was a nice touch. In conclusion, it was an average stay. I would have been very disappointed at peak season prices.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The staff including the owner were fantastic. So nice and pleasant. The property is definitely a three star but I can confidently say they are working in it as we speak. The owners bought the property about one year ago and are continuing to upgrade it. We stayed in the third floor with a full view of the lake. It was absolutely amazing. Would I return yes, with the hopes they continue upgrading. I think it’s one of the best views on the lake and was very affordable. I am sure the prices will go up at the conclusion of the upgrades. Thanks again Perlo Panorama

A superb property. Historic building renovated like it was built yesterday. Staff is outstanding. Room is great. Breakfast is great. Location is very well positioned, just too many looters around the area, safe but slightly uncomfortable
