Soana City Rooms

L'hotel si trova al centro della città, in un punto veramente strategico per visitare Genova. Le camere sono pulite e con tutti i confort che non ti aspetteresti da un hotel a 2 stelle! Il personale è cordiale e disponibile.

Hotel liegt in einer Etage eines prächtigen genueser Bürgerhauses aus der Jahrhundertwende (1913) mit hohen Decken einschl. der alten Verzierung, dem alten Fahrstuhl usw. und liegt an einer Magistrale relativ nahe der Altstadt. Es ist von der Ausstattung eher einfach, ist aber sauber und enthält alles Notwendige. Der Empfang war freundlich.

best budget hotel in central genoa. The staff was very helpful. However hotel is not very well acoomodated with tea/ coffee for that you have to go out. Pls note this hotel is based on 4th floor of a building (small hotel). Sonia the receptionist was very welcoming.

Soana hotel was a little odd at first sight being on the forth floor of a building with an old fashioned lift that worked very well and smoothly despite it's appearance. The room was large, spacious and very clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was positioned in the centre of Genoa next to shops and the train station (not the central station but can't remember name). Good value for money. Would highly recommend.

We were given a balcony room at The Soana, number 13. Although the balcony had a locked gate on it it was still a lovely little room. Although it was small you had enough room to get around. The only issue we had was that the radiator was on and couldn't be switched off. It was November after all and to Italians it was cold. We however were baking hot. A minor quibble given that the room was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant, polite and accommodating. People forget that this is a budget hotel in the middle of a busy city centre. Noise was expected but not too bad. The continental breakfast seemed a little sparse but it still did the job, just! I would use the hotel again. Thanks to the owners, the lovely Sonia and the rest of the staff of the hotel for making us so welcome and comfortable.

My sister and enjoyed our stay at the Soana Hotel. The service was great, and the staff was both friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that the beds were hard.

Room a good size. Bar fridge. ensuite good. room needs refurbishing but so did 4 star hotel accommo that i had in paris. airconditioning, fan and windows open. quiet surroundings although in heart of busy area. bed not that comfortable. hotel has a lift. staff friendly and extremely helpful with tourist info. would stay here again.

It wasn't posh or fancy, but served our needs well. Quick walk to the train station or to some fantastic dining. It was quiet, clean and safe; I'd stay here again.

A comfortable base for exploring Genoa old town and port, not too far to walk from Brignole station. Nice quite room and the buiding has a lovely old wood panelled lift in the stairwell.
