Hotel Do Centro

The location of the hotel was good.

The cleanliness of the rooms was poor. Our room had an ant infestation. After asking to move rooms, the second room had food in the bed and food on the floor. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly. Basic requirements for a satisfactory stay not met.

Everything was perfect! Great breakfast!

They let me check in early. The location is great. My room had a nice view. The receptionists are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is ok. I'd gladly return.

This is not about Hotel do Centro, but about Hotel Windsor. They changed me to Winsord, I didn’t stay at Do Centro.

O hotel do centro estava encerrado e fomos recebidos no hotel do grupo de 4 estrelas, o hotel Windsor. Não tínhamos recebido qualquer indicação acerca disso, nem tão pouco onde deveríamos estacionar. Tivemos de ligar para o local à chegada, a meio da noite . Porque íamos para Porto Santo no dia seguinte e o barco era cedo, não nos foi providenciado o pequeno almoço que estava incluído (nem em versão marmita), argumentando que tínhamos de ter avisado com antecedência. O quarto tinha janelas de vidro simples e por isso algo barulhento, felizmente com o recolher obrigatório conseguiu não ser insuportável. Está muito ultrapassado para a categoria que diz ter. Foi má a experiência para o valor que foi pago.

Tricky one as I’d made my booking for Hotel do Centro and arrived at reception for check-in to be told the hotel was in fact closed and all guests would be staying at a sister hotel on the same street - Hotel Windsor. Despite arriving at 4pm, they didn’t have a room ready for me and the staff were OTT with Covid-secure measures - while appreciated, it made the welcome quite stressful but the hotel itself was fine for one night.

Mindre og godt hotel, med en meget central beliggenhed!
