HF Ipanema Porto

Excellent value for money. i was working five minutes away at the university so the location could not have been better but its anyway only 15/20 minutes walk from the centre. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. And the breakfast buffet was outstanding

This hotel is one of the best with everything to make your visit amendable one. Close to city centre and regular buses on route. Fantastic breakfast and service. I will definitely visit again with my friends.

Very nice hotel although we were given a twin bedroom instead of a double because of the promotion. However, the staff were very helpful and joined the two beds immediately. Breakfast was great and all the staff, especially the chef, were super nice and friendly.

Slightly noisy at night, otherwise perfect. The noise was not the hotel’s fault, just some inconsiderate neighbours in rooms nearby.

Comfortable stay. Friendly staff and excellent service. Gave us good directions to get hop on hop off bus. 5 star breakfast.

Warm welcome. When we needed something we called and on less than 10 minutes they respond. Strongly recommend the breakfast buffet. There is an option for every taste. Location was heat. Nearby restaurants are excellent Capa Nefra and Convivió. Market is nearby. Tours companies do pick up Strongly rexommend HF Ipanema.

The hotel is lovely. The room was a family room which would be ideal to stay with two children - lots of room. The bathroom was large and well equipped, lovely toiletries and lots of soft white towels. The entire room was very clean and in good order. From check in to check out the one thing that sets this hotel above the rest (not just in Porto/Portugal/Europe/The World) is the staff. Each and every member of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Of particular mention is Paulo Ferreria (excuse my spelling). I had lost my passport and Paulo was so helpful in making the right connections and giving me email addresses and numbers to contact. He ensured that everyone knew what was happening and made eased a very stressful time for us. Everyone on Reception was so pleasant and empathetic for us - I really felt looked after and one of the family. Thank you and well done!

Hotel is in walking distance of the city centre. East access to and from expressways.
