Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool & SPA

Fabulous city hotel. Within walking distance to all the attractions and transport links. Hotel staff were fabulous and the outdoor pool was so welcome in the hot sunny weather. Loved it and i will certainly book again next time im in Verona x

I had a very pleasant short stay here. The staff were friendly and very helpful, recommending the best places to visit in the city and how to get there. It's about a 20 minute walk into the heart of Verona with some lovely streets and piazzas to explore on the way. I was, however, a bit disappointed to discover that you have to pay to use the spa facilities here (sauna, etc.). Nevertheless, it's a nice hotel with good facilities.

Modern hotel that’s in walkable distance of all the attractions. Breakfast was brilliant.

The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel spa is also great and the gym is better than expected. The breakfast buffet is served by staff but the logistics wasn’t great and you can wait a while to be served during busier times, I can see that this was done for covid but would have been much easier to make people use hand sanitiser and serve themselves (as you do with the coffee machine).

WiFi was very poor in rooms and bedroom, whilst very big, was Spartan. However bathroom was huge!! Lovely jacuzzi bath and outdoor pool was very good. Covid-safe breakfast was handled very well with you being served from the buffet so this was very good.

Unfortunately, not-anymore-4-star-hotel, with old lobby, poor breakfast offer and 30C water temperature in the swimming pool, which is free only between 8 and 11 am. Double bed is made of two single beds, therefore very unpleasant gap occurs - special cover was missing.

Great location, friendly staff and service. Very close to center.

We had a lovely stay here over Christmas, The girls on reception were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, they found us restaurants to eat at on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are a credit to your hotel. Our room was excellent with all that we required. It's a 20 min walk from the main train Station to the Hotel and a 28 min walk from the hotel into the middle of Verona. Just what we wanted. Thank you.

The lady in the front desk was awesome. She went out of her way help us out. Truly a happy experience..
