Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool & SPA

The hotel is about 30 mins walk from the historic centre. Sadly there is not really a huge amount in the immediate area. We booked the hotel as it had a pool but if you want to lay in the sun you’ll need to be up early as the are very few spots the see any for any reasonable amount of time as it’s surrounded by buildings. Rooms are clean and comfortable if not a little tired. On site secure parking is good.

All good, they also upgraded us in order tpo have the two rooms close to each other. Very competitive price a very good location.

staff was friendly and helpful. staff allowed us to check in early and stored our luggage and brought it up for us when room was ready. location was easy to travel from verona porta nuova via bus. walkable from verona porta nuova too, but takes about 30 minutes. room was clean and shower area was spacious. really good stay for the price

Great stay. Great property, Super clean and well appointed room. Loved the spa shower. Awesome! The breakfast was delicious, many choices, fresh and well prepared.

Hotel San Marco is situated on the outskirts of Verona in a quiet, residential area. Taxis into the centre are cheap, there is a bus and readily available bike hire. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights in July 2019 and had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and the air con very effective. The pool was a welcome retreat after a busy day exploring the city. Staff were kind and helpful and the bar prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I was able to use their business centre without charge when I experienced problems with my laptop. They have a better map of the city than I was given by the tourist info at the station. The pool is very good and the breakfast has everything you want for a very reasonable charge of 10 euros. It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the station and the city centre. There are 2 laundromats nearby plus a local Trattoria across the street with an amazing wine list, a local Pizza shop where you buy the already prepared pizza by weight and they cook it for you. About 12 varieties and about 7 euros to fill up. Also a take away Sri Lankan restaurant about 400 metres down the street which has huge meals for about 4 -6 euros each. Not to forget the hotel also serves great meals at reasonable prices by the pool and the bar is also open to about 11pm each night. Again, reasonable prices. A great find to stay at. Also parking available for those who drive at 9 euros a day I believe. Wifi never failed me the whole time I was here in my room, around the hotel and out at the pool.

A great hotel for the business traveller or tourist. Close to the airport and train station. Room I stayed in was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Huge bathroom with spa bath and shower. No view from the bedroom but this wasnt an issue at all. With in easy walking distance of the city centre in about 20 mins and to wide selection of bars and restaurants in about 10 mins. A good gym in the basement with small indoor pool, all very clean and well maintained. Reasonable sized outdoor pool. So great place to relax in. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

A nice hotel not far from the centre of the city, about a 20 minute walk to the tourist attractions. A few restaurants nearby with some nice piazzas only a 5 minute walk away. Pool area is nice and a good choice for breakfast.

The spa was calm and relaxing. Although short lived. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was clean

We did not see the part about reserving the spa ahead of time. The night we stayed was fully booked and we could not use the spa. However, the staff was amazing and allowed us to use the jacuzzi in the morning.
