Wonderful location, incredible views! Oh, and the room, where to start - it was beautiful and very comfortable, every need was met. I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend this hotel, who wouldn’t want to stay in a 14th century mansion.

It was like staying in medieval luxury. We had the most beautiful historical apartment and our own private garden. Our apartment had a mezzanine level with another queen sized bed, a huge dining table and a very welcome deep leather couch. The building itself was an original convent?, still with original frescoes. Incredibly quiet but very central. Each time we stepped through the door it was luxury at every point.

Stepping through the door was taking us to another world and time. Beautiful period furniture, large character filled rooms and our own private garden with fruit trees and sun lounges. All of this was next door to one of the main cathedrals in the old town. Hard to top.

We have been staying in this beautiful historical mansion every time we pass by Assisi. We have stayed in different rooms, each of them with different charms. Most of them with beautiful views, some of them with wonderful gardens and a two-room suite with a wonderful panoramic balcony. The bathrooms are nothing special but the rooms and their antique-like furniture, stone walls and wooden doors and roofs make up for anything else lacking. Just having a key to one of these rooms makes you feel like a local and brings you back in time. Views of Santa Chiara basilica are breathtaking and on the other side of the mansion, the bell tower of an old church is so close to the house that almost feels part of it. Rooms are clean and the area is really quiet, yet you are just a few minutes walk from the main square, shops and restaurants. There is no room service and reception has certain hours, but there is always a contact number to reach if needed. Beautiful location, beautiful views, beautiful place.

This place was beautiful and charming with an absolutely stunning view of the Umbrian countryside. Each apartment was cost and felt just like home unlike most hotel rooms. Parking is not so nearby, though. The apartments are nearby everything in the center of town on the other hand. The folks at the hotel were also very nice and helpful, too. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, wonderful room we stayed in. We were booked here through our travel agent and this place was gorgeous. The view from our room was unbelievable This mansion was in a great location on a beautiful hillside overlooking the valley below and beautiful patio. Even though we only stayed 1 night at this location, we would definitely recommend this accomodation.

we had a two room suite with attached garden on the ground floor. Setting was beautiful with older stone masonry and period furnishings. This room was probably the most impressive that we enjoyed during our month long trip to Italy. Francesco, who was in the office during our stay, was uniformly polite and helpful throughout the stay.

This charming old building offers wonderful access to the central plaza of Assisi and other points of interest. The staff is friendly and helpful. They're English speaking skills are adequate and earnest. We spent one night on our trip from Rome to Florence. A few minor room issues but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our one night stay. We stayed in Brother-Wind which has a nice view of Santa Clara and the valley below.

Visited the San Crispino Historical Mansion in Assisi for two nights recently. We were very warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The room was nicely kept, clean yet simple, no extravagant appointments here. The location was very nice, very near to St. Clare church, a bit of a walk to St. Francis Basilica. We would recommend the San Crispino Historical Mansion.
