Hotel Celebrity Bournemouth East Cliff by Villare hotels

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to a very serious safety issue that happened during our stay. At around 1:20 AM, while my partner and I were asleep, a stranger entered our room. I woke up to someone literally walking into the room while we were sleeping. I was almost completely naked in bed, and to this day I do not know whether this person saw me or not. My partner immediately ran to the door and the person quickly left. The next morning we spoke to reception. The receptionist (possibly the manager/owner) apologized and explained that apparently our room had been sold to another guest as well. She blamed Hotelbeds for the issue, but as someone who has worked for many years as a Guest Services Manager, I know very well how room allocation systems work. Even in cases of overbooking, the actual room allocation is handled by the hotel. A room that has already been checked into should never be assigned to another reservation. This was clearly a failure by the hotel team. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled afterward. I explained how serious this was and how unsafe we felt, but I was simply told that “there was nothing they could do.” The only compensation offered was 50% off a future stay — but after this experience, I would never return. After the incident, I was terrified someone else could enter our room again since other people apparently had working keys. I did not sleep for the rest of the night and even had to place an object under the door handle to feel safer. Most importantly, immediately after the incident I tried calling reception several times. Nobody answered. I left a voicemail and my phone number, and nobody ever called me back. We were completely alone during a very distressing situation. This experience made me feel extremely unsafe, and the lack of accountability and proper handling afterward was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was no hot water to have a shower, did report this to reception but unfortunately the chap at reception said he would look at it but didn't.

Very noisy. You can here your people in next room and above and corridors.

We arrived at the hotel to check in on the afternoon of our stay 24th May. We were unable to check in until 3pm but were told to check our car in to the car park. After a day out we arrived back to the hotel to check in, get a shower and change of clothes to go out for our wedding anniversary meal. At the desk the lady told us that our booking was in fact a scam from Spain and that there were no rooms available! She said there was no management on site and that there was nothing she could do about it! There were several others trying to book in who were told the same as us...no rooms available and that our bookings were void! Being as we had booked with lastminute.com we were told they only accept bookings from booking.com. It turned out that the other people who had been turned away had also booked with lastminute.com. Others checking in with booking.com were accepted in!!!! We tried to look for alternative accomodation but being as it was 6.30pm there were no available rooms. There was also an issue with people who were staying there who came to the desk complaining there was no electricity or hot water to get a shower after two nights of their stay!! They were told it was being sorted!! I advise any one who is thinking of booking in at The Hotel Celebrity to give it a miss! I have never experienced such an obysmal set up in my life!!! Last minute.com are trying their best to resolve this for me as money has been taken from me for this booking!

La ubicación es excelente. Paradas de bus y se puede llegar caminando a bares, restaurantes y supermercados.

La climatización, pudiera mejorarse un poco. Y la parte del baño una pequeña actualización no estaría mal.

There was no power, the state was horrible.The breakfast was not good at all Smell like hemical soons you walk through the corridor it smells horrible. The what was good about it. The new bathroom, the rest of it was not good. It's not worth it for the monye
