Stotfield Hotel

Excellent location and really nice, traditional Scottish building. Really nice and friendly staff and my friends had food here and said the food was fantastic. Nice comfortable beds as well.

Could have done with extra car parking as had to leave my car on the road but it was still safe.

Felt the staff were approachable and cared.

Poor quality beds, we had 4 beds in 1 room and 1 mattress had completely sunk in the middle. Shower went from boiling to cold in seconds and then back to boiling, all breakfast items were poor quality especially the sausages and luke warm at best- eggs were rock hard on both days, we stayed last year and the breakfast is considerably worse now compared to then. Very expensive bar, £24 for 3 drinks.

The staff were very welcoming. I felt well rested after a very long drive.

The location was very nice.

We found really large spiders Webb on the wall and it wasn’t hidden. The room was quite dirty and the whole hotel could do with a refresh.

Very outdated room, mattress very old and I’d agree is as old as the wood chip paper and 70’s bathroom. I paid a discounted rate not overly much discount but I won’t stay here again that’s for sure worst room and bed ever and no parking available for me tiny car park and the street is rammed

The staff were excellent! Location was very good.

Needs some care. The shower did not work properly; there was mold or black grime where tub and wall meets and tub and floor. Ceiling needed repair where there had been a leak.

Reasonable sized room. Large bathroom. Beds OK.

Food was fairly poor for the price. Reheated pre-prepared meals.

Rooms large and comfortable ageing a wee bit but clean and well looked after Breakfast very good and tasty Steaks were amazing
