Best Western Annesley House Hotel

Full English Breakfast was available 😋 The staff were excellent, especially given that (due to train issues) I arrived close to midnight. The Lounge/Bar.

Could have done with USB Connectors integrated in the wall sockets (but was able to get an adapter from reception). The bath was a little shallower than I would have liked.

Freshly cooked breakfast. Clean and well presented room, Plenty of tea, coffee including decaf coffee. Good storage space in bedroom and helpful amenity information folder. Despite being close to a main road wasn't noisy. Very pleasant dining area in conservatory. Comfortable lounge and bar area with a few games. Good reception cover

Stairs to upper bedrooms little narrow. Limited breakfast choice for cereals and no fresh fruit or yoghurts. Evening meal options are minimal and potentially expensive

Very close to centre of Norwich. Bed and pillows very comfortable. It was exceptionally clean. The garden area at the back was a little haven.

Loved the food, service and warm welcome from all staff. We dined at the restaurant twice and the food was great. We also had the breakfasts every day - granola cup was a big favourite! Loved Room 10, very roomy ground floor, will definitely request that one again! Location is awesome, just a 10 min stroll to town. We used the laundry service once, left it with reception and it was back in our room by the end of the day. Garden area had lots of tables where you could sit for a evening drink or a morning chat.

We were initially given Room 15- we are longhaul travellers from Australia with big luggage and found it very small, with a very odd shaped bathroom, located up a steep flight of stairs. We asked for a room move which was sorted within a couple of days at no extra cost. Staff were very helpful in moving our belongings to the new room.

It was hot. I was provided with a fan, but air con would have been better

The bath could have been hotter.
