"We will be back"

8.0

Friends of ours who live in Northampton and us, who live in Bridlington meet up somewhere between us for a get together and this time it was Norwich and a good choice of hotel from a location point of view. We stayed Tuesday until Friday with the only gripe being rooms which required steep stairs to access - not good for aged knees. It will be Room 10 for me next time. Billy and Barry were amenable and (? Diana) did marvels at breakfast. The menu could do with some changes, say on alternative nights - the light bites were quite tasty. We liked the grape vine and perhaps a history of the entire complex would be of interest. Thanks for a good stay Brian, Jacqui, Ron & Rosemary

"A pleasant stay."

7.0

The staff were mostly lovely. The room had some nice extras in it like body lotion and a variety of teas. Breakfast was good and copious

The evening meal was uninspiring with obviously microwaved food and frozen vegetables

"Good, comfortable value in a convenient place"

9.0

I came back because I'd liked it last time I was here. Nice staff, comfy room.

The only thing I didn't like - and it wasn't a failing on your part - was that it sounded as though there was a very heavy-footed person in the room above! (Was there a room above, or was it in the corridor?!)

"Have stayed here a few times before and enjoyed it. But not this time."

4.0

The Room and staff.

Arriving back at the hotel in the evening (10.15) looking forward to a nightcap and the finding the building in near total darkness and the bar closed. Just seemed like a B&B to us not a hotel. But the B&Bs we've stayed in rarely charged you £6 to park.
