Best Western Annesley House Hotel

The main building was beautiful with lots of character. It was very well located, being only a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. There was ample space to park our car and a lovely little garden at the back to sit and relax in.

Our room was in a converted outbuilding, which was not part of the main building. The room was very small with low ceilings and on the 1st floor. To be honest, we were both slightly disappointed. Considering the price we paid and the description given at the time of booking, this was not what we expected. However, the bed was very comfortable and small ensuite ok for an overnighter.

The communal areas were great, the staff were all lovely and very accommodating. The room was good for the night and bed comfortable.

The accommodation was pretty basic. The bedroom itself was fine, the bathroom could do with being updated quite significantly.

Breakfast was superb with good and friendly service. Great location, very convenient for the city centre.

Room was a little bit hot and stuffy.

Beautiful garden in city centre, accommodation is as described,super clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely.

Difficult to find on the satnav

Good location, short walk to city centre. Room was good size, clean and well furnished. Bathroom was small, but with a large shower cubicle and plenty of hot water. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice.

Dinner menu was poor, very limited choice of main courses. As a result, everyone went out for dinner, so bar and lounge were empty, with no atmosphere. The first evening we did eat in the restaurant, almost on our own, and the food we did have was very good.
