Large old hotel with high ceilings and huge rooms, up a long driveway through mature trees and garden. Lovely room with large window looking over woodland. Very quiet. Woodland walk in the grounds. Short walk from railway station along promenade and driveway.

Vegetarian main food portion tiny. I had an extremely small cheese souflle! But was promptly refunded when I complained.

A very tired looking hotel. my window frames were all rotten and the room furniture was horrible dark brown years old.

"A large hotel which was comfortable and excellent value."

Good value. Friendly staff. Basic but clean room.

Slightly shabby appearance especially externally. The breakfast staff were not so relaxed and insisted that we sat at certan tables away from the group bookings for no apparent reason.
