"Quick stop over on road trip"

"Ok, but disappointed"

The surrounding area of the hotel was lovely.

It is an unmanned hotel, which we were not aware of. So arriving earlier than we thought, we couldnt check in as there is no one there. The rate was also a bit high considering it didn't include breakfast. There was no casual bar area to enjoy the football, we had to travel to another hotel to watch the games.

Location

Very dated. No bottled water. No evening meal even though the website states 8pm we arrived at 7.45 and was refused food and told we could go to the Chinese in town 🙈. One young member of staff very rude

"Good stopover on return from Hebrides."

Breakfast was good, room spacious and comfortable, well situated with a pleasant view over the grounds

Dinner not available, had to travel to sister hotel. One staff member less than amenable, let down the others.
