Dryfesdale Hotel - BW Signature Collection

The air inside was terrible, I'm quite sure that the hotel is in mold. At least the bottom of it.

The owner upgraded us to the bridal suite free of charge, due to their sister hotel not being available for dinner, which worked perfectly for us. Hotel was cosy and dinner was lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like in particular :)

Location was great we were on route between Gloucestershire and the Isle of Skye. A perfect stop over.

Waiting staff were over worked and struggled with their work load.

Situated in own grounds and convenient access.

Room was too hot. Sound proofing between adjoining bathrooms was non existent. No chef on duty night of my stay so no dinner. Luckily I had enjoyed a late lunch elsewhere but otherwise it would have been a major disappointment.

On arrival at the Dryfesdale around 7pm in the evening we found a completly empty carpark and hotel with not a sole about, and looked like it had been shut for some time. I had received a text message saying I had been moved to the sister hotel up the road, A Best Western Sure hotel which as due to driving I had not seen the text. In my view the Dryfesdale had been shut for some time and instead of telling us in advance so we could look elsewhere we were put into their sister hotel at the same rate. On arrival we were told we were too late to get an evening meal.

Could not stay at hotel. Boiler bust!!!

Small, comfortable hotel, with amazing veiws over the Scottish Country side, the staff were warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. The beds were comfy and the facilities were clean.

The room was tired, and dark due to the dark furniure, the fire alam went off twice in the late evening which ment we had dress but iwas turned off before got to our room door, otherwise the stay was as we expected.
