Château d'Isenbourg

This is a lovely older hotel. It could use a little spiffing up in some areas - a fresh coat of paint here, new bathroom furnishings there. Pretty quiet. Small but nice indoor pool and spa. We received especially great service from the night manager, Florentine, who speaks excellent English. He mapped out a tour of nearby Colmar for us, which was very helpful.

Umgebung und Hotel sehr romantisch, jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Muesste dringend renoviert werden. SPA war unsauber - die Ritzen im Dampfbad waren voller Haare und in den Ecken war Rost.

It’s a beautiful building and location but the rooms are 4 star at best, not 5. The place is generally in want of a smart upgrade, the building is very nice but constructed in the 70s and the place feels a little dated, not 79s dated just dated. It is very good value though and the restaurant is a winner for dinner with a great staff

I stayed at this hotel 35 years ago and went back because i had fond memories - I was not disappointed. I reserved a “superior” room which got me a large room on the top floor of the chateau with 3 windows overlooking the front gardens and the vine covered hills in the distance. There is a bar on an outdoor terrace overlooking the village of Rouffach and acres of vines behind a wall that is part of the Château. My wife had Riesling and I had Pinot Noir from domain Chateau d’Isenbough and both were good. The restaurant at the chateau is excellent for dinner and breakfast in an adjoining room is also nice. If you want to pretend to be the “marquis” for the day...this a good place.

Bra hotell, mycket trevlig personal, bra rum!

The Hotel was wonderful - beautiful surroundings and view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the service was very good. We just stayed the one night and eat in the restaurant on the terrace outside. The food was good, though the prices were rather high. Great to see a stork in it's nest on top of the tower too! A lovely place - would definitely go again.

Et virkelig godt hotel med en dejlig spa-afdeling. Perfekt beliggenhed hvor man kan gå ned i byen til restauranter og cafeer. God udendørspool. Restauranten på hotellet var for dyr i forhold til kvaliteten. den vil gerne være gourmet men jeg synes ikke at det helt var pengene værd.

Except for the view, the scenery, the garden, a surprising Tesla charger and the excellent breakfast buffet, this hotel is definitely not worth its 5 stars. Not even close. Everything is old, poorly maintained, unpractical and the service is disappointing. They didn't offer to bring the luggage into the room upon arrival, nor to take them down upon leaving, Internet is abysmally slow (when it works), only one old room key per room, the carpet dates back 50 years at least, the bathrooms are ridiculously small, bathtub and sink were clogged, there was no hair conditioner or body lotion, the indoor pool and sauna do not offer bath towels or robes and the locker rooms are in ridiculously poor conditions, there is only one elevator in the whole place, often in use and everything looks pretty poorly maintained and there are not towels offered or service around the outdoor pool. It is way overpriced for the quality. I would not recommend it.
