Hotel de l'Europe

Just a quick trip to France and a stay in a really convenient hotel with free plentiful parking outside and comfortable rooms: we'd certainly stay there again. It was possibly about 20% overpriced though.

For me it was a last minute snap decision to book (1/2 hour) I was not disappointed, the lady at the desk spoke broken English but she was amazingly helpful and pleasant. Something that impresses me. I must have stayed off-season because the rate was fantastic.The rooms were plain and basic but very clean and comfortable. My window opened to the beach and you could hear the waves all night which was very calming. There was tons of free parking and hotel is very easy to get to in a very car-friendly area.

The rooms overlooking the beach gave us a superb view of the sunsets. It's a nice hotel with a good breakfast buffet one street corner away from a series of good local restaurants.

I chose this hotel specifically because it overlooks the landing zone of the 1942 Dieppe raid. The room is average but nice enough, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and there is a decent view of the beach. The internet went off for a while, but the staff actually took action and had it restored in an hour or so. The hotel is easy to get to, and there was lots of free parking available on the street. It's a short walk to the inner harbour, and lots of interesting sights in the town. I would stay again.

Our stay here was a pleasant one. The room was a good size, and the view from the large windows was onto Dieppe's main seafront which was nice! Our arrival was dealt with promptly at reception, and staff friendly. Would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facility in the room, and aircon would have helped too. Breakfast was available as an extra, but instead we wandered into town for freshly baked croissants and coffee which was very enjoyable! Would stay at the hotel again as long as the price is right!

For the price we paid, we expected complimentary breakfast, but that was an additional cost of €10! Too much noise pollution from the Fair, also obstructed the sea view. It was too overpriced, looked more like a two star hotel!

Room was very clean and modern , plenty of storage space and modern bathroom , disappointed no tea/coffee facility's or fridge , no hotel bar either , staff very friendly and helpful and location near to centre but not noisy , will defiantly go again for a girls trip away

Friendly and helpful hotel staff. The continental breakfast was excellent and well worth 10 Euros. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and everything worked, including hot water at all times. Lovely view of the seafront. The surrounding area was nice and quiet and within a short walking distance from the marina and shops. Long walk from the ferry port, but taxi only costs 8 Euros and takes ten minutes. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Was ok for an overnight stay on way home. Room was clean and ok for one night. However was very hot and could not open windows due to fair directly outside! Parking was a major problem, although having driven round for about 30 minutes we eventually got a place near hotel to unload. Breakfast poor worst we had in France and still cost the same as some!
