Hôtel Irlande

Location was fine. But the hotel itself was dark and no lights. Had to walk around to seek for help. The receptionist was not very helpful.

The room was so dull and very disappointed the way it was presented. Nothing like it is on the picture. I had to move the same day to a different hotel. I didn’t even get a refund .

They say the people make a holiday and this is most certainly the case. We have been coming to Lourdes for years and were worried after COVID that the experience would be different now. We it was, the welcome we received was the warmest my wife and I have received, nothing was a problem, location is 2 minutes slow walk to the sanctuary, and the hotel staff could not do enough. We arrived by car and were able to park at the door to unload and load and were given a map to show us how to get to the free car parking. A great stay, a Hotel I would recommend to anyone.

The location is just perfect. Very close to the sanctuary and shops. Isabelle at the reception is very accommodating and helpful.

The size of the room, could have gone a little bigger. But no big deal. I wish there is a kettle in the room so we can have tea or coffee at odd times.

This hotel is a genuine home from home. I travel with the Westminster Pilgrimage every year (excepting Covid times). We would not stay anywhere else. The warmth of our welcome from this family run hotel is the difference in all aspects of our stay. Nothing is too much trouble for Isabelle and her staff. She is the third generation to run the Irlande Hotel. The hotel is central, with complete lift access to the street leading to the Grotto and all chapels. The rooms are spacious, beautifully maintained and absolutely clean. I cannot recommend The Irlande enough, for value for money and more importantly for the care given to each and every person. These people are so aware of the vulnerability of many pilgrims and the care, respect and personal attention to detail given to all ensures that we return year after year. If the star ratings reflected the value added kindness this hotel would be 10 stars!

Nothing. The hotel, the staff the location, the ease of accessibility and access to the Grotto- without the noise! cannot be beaten.

I so love this hotel Irlande... United States citizens, stay at this hotel, it’s clean, simple, the staff is awesome and it’s very close to the entrance of the grounds for the Basilica. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Lourdes.
