The rooms were amazing and very comfortable. We felt like we were stepping back into history with the gorgeous decor. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the selection for breakfast. The hotel is a quick walk from the Amboise centre.

Charming property with gardens and swimming pool. Rooms decorated with antique furniture in varying condition, generally ok. Large air conditioned room with California king bed and double sofa bed. Bathroom in good order though no curtain or screen for shower on bathtub. Lovely garden terrace by the pool for breakfast. Breakfast very average, especially considering the cost. Staff very polite and helpful. On site parking very useful. Hotel just 5 minute very scenic walk from centre of Amboise.

The property was very nice, we liked the grass area in the back. Location was great, walkable to town, lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was excellent. Alternatives to all of the stairs would be helpful to older guests.

Great choice for a trip to amboise and explore the Loire Valley. The staff at the property is top notch and very accommodating. The chef and the restaurant are great. We stayed during the Christmas holidays and they made it very special. I just think the property could use a little upgrade. It’s comfortable, but could be better and still maintain its charm. Nevertheless a very good choice

This was a great place to stay in while touring the chateaux in the Loire valley. It's very pretty, convenient to stroll into the town center, and the staff and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay while in the region
