"Good but not “4 stars”"

The hotel was generally nice, but lacked the feel and amenities of a “4 star” hotel. The location is good...about a 5 minute walk from the towne centre. Pool was ok but had zero shade so was essentially unusable in the heat of the day. The rooms were comfortable overall but the finishes were sub par. Probably the most disappointing was the staff...they were generally unhelpful and unfriendly.

"Well located Loire valley hotel"

Pleasant staff and very good location. Lovely breakfast and nice to have pool access although it needs some attention

"Great hotel, but a bit stuffy"

A lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Amboise is an amazing town with both its Royal Chateau and da Vinci's last home. The staff at the hotel could relax a bit and be more welcoming and helpful.
