Nuovo Hotel Del Porto

A straightforward hotel with a pleasant room, in easy reach of the station and convenient for the city centre

Reasonable place on great location.

Well, the walls are really thin. If someone stays in the next room, you are going to hear his talk.

Central location, very close to restaurants, shops and sightseeings.

The bathroom was narrow, the rooms need renovation.

Location: the best! Staff: very nice. View from the room (5th floor) over the roofs of Bologna, and nice view on the old town in the distance, but from the room on the 1st floor: rundown terrace with some old garbage pipes to be honest and walls of other houses and backyard. Comfortable bed. Housekeeping very good 10/10.

The rooms (I saw two rooms) are quite old and a bathroom would need a renovation. Bad smell, coming from old pipes I guess, and not airing the room enough...

Walking distance from train station and all major attractions.

Power points are the old style Italian ones so no international adapters work. They look exactly like the usual two pronged Euro adapters but can't plug in anything to charge as they're not quite right. Apparently there's still these type in some older buildings so universal adapters nor Euro specific ones don't work..

Just a quick stop for us, we had our room changed as it offered better WiFi, apparently not great service throughout the hotel. Our room was tiny but as it was just one night it was fine.
