Oceanis - Cephalonie

First problem was you need to email the hotel, or you won't have a transfer to your hotel. The breakfast is ok, but don't get to excited. The walk to the harbour with two restaurants and two bars is 5 mins, add another 6-7 mins to the main town. Hotel views and pool and great.

In coppia abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una settimana in fine giugno. Ci siamo trovati bene. Proprietari disponibili, discreti, attenti senza essere soffocanti. Ci hanno trovato prima del nostro arrivo- su nostra richiesta- il noleggio macchina che ci aspettava in aeroporto. Un grazie alla Sig.ra Maria per aver saputo prevenire le nostre richieste. Colazione abbondante con possibilità di richiedere omelette oppure bacon and eggs. Ci hanno dato all'arrivo la possibilità di scegliere fra due stanze. La nostra era grande luminosa, vista sul mare e verandina (la mattina un pò troppo) con pulizia e cambio giornaliero. La climatizzazione era un tantino debole come il wi fi in alcune orari e posizione. La doccia stretta e i cuscini troppo bassi. Comunque una struttura da consigliare per un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e per l'accoglienza.

A very clean hotel with a beautiful view of the harbour, approx 15 minutes on foot or 5 min by car from Poros center/ferry. About a 15 min drive to Skala. Very friendly owners! We left our passport at the hotel and only realized when we were already at the airport, husband dropped them off in no time! Breakfast was yummy, especially the cheesy omelette mmm. Clean pool, very accommodating hosts and comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay again!

Couldn't fault the service. Good breakfast.

Hotel muy tranquilo y con bonitas vistas al puerto de Poros. El personal es muy discreto pero servicial.

A great value hotel with good, clean basic rooms and a decent breakfast.

Oceanis is a quaint family run hotel in the small port village of Poros which is about 45 minutes from the airport. The view of the bay is breathtaking. Sitting on the patio watching the yachts coming in to port was very enjoyable. The hotel is a family run business and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time and get anything you need. We had a slightly complicated itinerary that involved us having to shift dates slightly after we arrived and the hotel was very accommodating. The food that was available was simple but delicious. The best tomato pasta sauce I have had. While the hotel doesnt have many dinner options there are two tavernas that are 1 minute walk away and the village is a short drive away. If you are without a car, like we were, a free shuttle service is available. The beach is a short but steep walk away, for those that like a bit of exercise.The kids were in the pool most of the time but there was also a pool table and table tennis. We didnt make use of them but there were also bicycles available for use.

The hotel is in a great location with amazing views and reasonable roads. The rooms aren't flash, but they provide a good base with air con and the basic amenities. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to help. The pool was clean and made a nice place to sit after a long day hitting the various beaching around the island. A car Is a must for the location however as you would be pretty stranded otherwise.

It didn't have a thing to hold the shower head up.... That's the only thing I can think of slightly negative, Great hotel, great view, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, fantastic price, beautiful town...close to two lovely restaurants/tavernas. A wonderful experience
